Harimau collects and processes customer information needed to operate the store, fulfill orders, provide support, prevent fraud, comply with law, and improve the customer experience. Shopify and the service providers involved in checkout, payment, fulfillment, analytics, and communications process information according to their roles and policies.

Order tracking and verified reviews

Harimau's order-tracking and review tools process the order number and checkout email supplied by the customer to verify access to an order and eligibility to review a purchased product. The email is compared to Shopify order data on the server and is not displayed in tracking results.

Review verification stores a keyed one-way identity hash rather than the checkout email. Approved reviews display only the public name, rating, title, review text, date, and verified-purchase status submitted for publication. Security-attempt and access-audit records contain keyed hashes rather than submitted email addresses or raw IP addresses. Access-audit records are automatically deleted after 30 days.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. Shopify privacy requests delivered to the Harimau app are processed through mandatory compliance webhooks.
